Arthemis I

If you walk the forest, day or night,
bring the crescent moon a flower
bring the full moon a bouquet
small sacrifice for goodwill's power
through the eyes of feral beauty
on the wings of birds of prey
the virgin goddess has her way
her will- the sharp tip of an arrow
did you bring her a bouquet?
in the wake of dawning hour
bow your head, kneel down to pray
forest nymphs precede her summon
with joyous chants they pave her step
did you forget to bring a flower?
a glow of grace that grows on grass
a glance as sharp as shattered glass
serenity embroidered on a pale face
her hair- a windy tempest
"blessed be thy arrow, stranger
blessed be thy pious praise"
as words tear her lips asunder
you sense her breath- like rainy day
"Goddess, bind me with thy power,
guide my step so I don't stray"
